Approvals is the Cause Of Falling Buildings

 A developer in Nairobi has blamed the tedious and lengthy process as the major cause of collapse of buildings. This leads to many builders and home owners opting to take  cheaper shortcuts. 

He further stated that you have to knock onto as many doors for approvals before you can begin construction. There atleast four approvals that you must get before you begin your construction project including Architectural plan approval, Structural plan approvals and the environmental impact assesment by NEMA.

In a survey carried out by NCA, over 600 building are likely to collapse and hence should be demolished.
