The British American Tobacco Kenya plc(BAT Kenya) is the latest of companies to deny Kenya business. This is after it made an application to the Energy And Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) for a license to generate their own power for internal use.
This comes on the back drop of the company installing over 1400kWp of solar power for internal consumption and without any connection to the grid.
