A Kenyan, with US origins, solar power farm is set to install a rooftop solar power project at the Juja mall. Centennial Generating Company Limited, said in a statement that the facility will lower power costs for the small businesses operating from the mall in addition to great improvements in power predictability.

This is their eighteenth renewable power project in the region. The company says they are committed and dedicated to financing solar and battery storage for SMEs. The mall will not incur any expenses as the project is funded through their C9 fund. The ownership of the solar farm will be transferred to the mall once the contract comes to an end.
