The newly elected head of state has announced that all primary schools will get internet connection by the year 2030. He spoke in an event to celebrate dubbed World Children's Day.
"Access to internet in schools remains a necessity to impart digital literacy to children to prepare them for the work place and the future world of work," he said. He further added that this will be made possible through the GIGA partnership that have seen over 110 schools getting connected to the internet grid benefiting over 40,000 school going children.
